Hi Everyone :) I thought it was about time to tell you all a little bit about us. Why we started this site and what it’s all about. EBQ and I were talking one day and we wanted to find someplace on the net where we could be ourselves and not worry about too many rules. Someplace a little different where we could talk about anything! While both of us belong to several awesome posting boards, we liked the idea of a place that was ours. LOL, we both love being in control ;) That’s where the concept of SHK-World first began. Those of you who know us won’t be surprised when I tell you that the concept stage of SHK-World was developed over the phone. We slowly started telling people about our ideas and the response was great! CLyne joined us as our one and only God as soon as EBQ let him know what we were thinking of doing. He has been a great addition to the site and we couldn’t have done it without him! Loni and Shaz joined us as super-moderators and they have done an awesome job, both before and after the site was up and running. You have Loni to thank for all the smilies and Shaz for all the Avatars. I also want to give a special thank you to DarXabre who helped us with the technical side for the first month or so to get us going. We get asked a lot, what’s the theme of the boards. Well, our theme is “Have Fun”. The posting board is an off-topic posting board. You can talk about anything! If you want to come in and yell about life then we’re here to listen and commiserate. If you want to chat about your day, come on in. We did have to come up with a few rules, sad I know but it had to be done, however our rules are designed for everyone’s enjoyment. Okay so the no nude pictures doesn’t make everyone happy ;) We still have lot of plans for the site. We’ll be updating and adding lots of little things as the months go by. Water Nymph ---------------------- Hello Everyone, Well, just to update you there have been many changes over the years and due to life, love and the powers that be, Water Nymph and Clyne have now taken a back seat postition (stop laughing Water!!) on the site do to outside pressures although I supose I should introduce you our new admin team that have stepped up to the challange of our mad world. Omega and Spike are the new admin of the site. These two guys have been a part of our world since the begining on various other sites and now we all come together (stop laughing Water) maintain SHK-World.
